World Sailing Youth World Championships Selection!
The 29er European Championships 2017 was held in Quiberon, France. This was the selection event for the World Sailing Youth Worlds GBR Team. The top boy and girl British boats would be selected. After a 7 hour drive and 2 hour ferry, we arrived in Quiberon. We went straight from Nationals, where I sailed with Nathaniel Gordon and came 3rd mixed team. Once we arrived in Quiberon, we had a day for measurement and chilling, then we had a day for a short training session which wa

US Nationals and World Championships 2017- Long Beach, LA
Hi everyone, Just got back from the most incredible two weeks- LA was amazing! We had a day off before everything kicked off when we got there, so Dad and I decided to go sight seeing. We went all round LA, doing the walk of fame, Chinese theatre, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood sign and drove round the studios. It was an incredible experience and quite surreal. So although s

The race committee did a great job to squeeze in a total of 8 races over the weekend and it was great, tight racing. Emily and I have never sailed together before, so it was great to

Yachts and Yachting Awards 2017- 'Achievement of the Year'
Hi everyone! A few days ago, I was told that the British Youth Sailing EUROSAF Team won the 'Achievement of the Year' award. I was part of this Team when we went out to Austria to compete in the 2016 EUROSAF Championships. The team brought home 8 medals in total over all the classes as well as the Nations Cup trophy which had never been won by the GBR Team before. Orla and I brought home a bronze medal which helped take the tally up to 8. Well done to the rest of the Team on
