National Squad, Datchet Water- Day 3
Got rigged and changed by 9am ready to go pretty much. We did a short 10 minute run, mobility exercises and a short briefing. Wind was about 6 – 12 knots which was absolutely perfect!! Got out on the water quickly and started with some tuning runs to get our rigs sorted before starting the exercises. In the morning, we did boathandling work at the start line. This is crucial as the start is where most places are won or lost.
Again, I had Spaghetti Bolognese for lunch, which was soooo good, and then back out on the water for two boat Team Racing and one long race. It was nice to finish the long weekend off with some racing! A great weekend and nice to try out new boat which I absolutely love!!
