Major award continues to back my sailing

Hi everyone! I'm delighted to announce that I am one of the lucky athletes to receive a SportsAid and Sports England Backing the Best Award, for the 2nd year running!

My Mum and I went up to Nottingham for a Backing the Best workshop, where we met the other athletes on the scheme, parents of other elite athletes, nutritionists, media groups, Loughborough sports students and sporting stars such as Rebecca Adlington, Richard Hounslow and Maggi Alphonsi. It was a fantastic workshop and very inspirational talking to these Olympians and Rebecca Adlington's mother.

Thanks to this award, I now have a full sailing program this summer including a 29er World Championship in LA and a European Championship in France. I just want to take this opportunity to thank SportsAid and Sport England for their incredible ongoing support.
